Welcome to Asteria Movement (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website.

2. Services

Asteria Movement offers yoga classes and related services. These Terms apply to all users of the website, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

3. Health Information and Data Collection

To ensure our classes are suitable for you and to comply with insurance requirements, we collect health information as part of our registration process. By providing your health information, you consent to its use for these purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your health information and relevant data for a period of 7 years, as required by our insurance policy.

5. Privacy and GDPR Compliance

We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. User Responsibilities

Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form.

Personal Use: Our services are for personal use only. You may not use our services for any commercial purposes without our express written consent.

Health Conditions and Injuries: You are responsible for informing us about any health conditions, injuries, or other factors that may affect your ability to participate in our yoga classes. You agree not to take part in classes or related activities if you have been advised against it by a medical professional. Participation in any yoga classes and related services/activities is at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

The content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Asteria Movement or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use our website or services for any illegal activities or to engage in any activity that:

Interferes with the functionality of our website.

Compromises the security of the website.

Collects or stores personal data of other users without their consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asteria Movement shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our website or services.

You agree to indemnify and hold Asteria Movement harmless from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your use of our website or services, or your violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Booking and Participation: General

By signing up to a Yoga class(es), workshop or course with Asteria Movement you are agreeing to the following.

Health:

I have not been advised against Yoga or other exercise by a doctor or other medical practitioner.

As far as I am aware, I have disclosed to my yoga teacher all information regarding my health relevant to the practice of yoga.

I take full responsibility for all applications of yoga I practice in the class and outside the class.

I fully understand that the recommendations, ideas or techniques expressed and described during these Yoga classes, workshops and courses cannot be regarded as substitute for the advice of a qualified medical practitioners.

Any uses to which the recommendations, ideas and techniques are put are at my sole discretion and risk.

I am aware that any pre-recorded or online sessions where the yoga teacher is not in the room with me may not include specific adaptations for me. I know I am responsible for my practice which includes deciding which activities to take part in and to what degree given my own knowledge of my physical, mental, emotional and mental health at the time of practicing. I understand I take part in online and pre-recorded sessions at my sole discretion and risk.

Payment

All fees are non-refundable or transferable.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation by a participant prior to the start of the class, the fee is non-refundable.

In the unlikely event of cancellation of any individual session by me, attempts will be made to reschedule. If this is not possible, or if alternative dates cannot be agreed, a refund for sessions not yet taken will be given. If a payment has been made for a block or course, the refund amount will be the total payment divided by the intended number of sessions per cancelled session (any sessions that have already taken place will not be refunded). If this happens, I will ask you for your bank details and send you the refund via bank transfer. Please note, I cannot refund without this information. I do not see your details or store them when you make your payment.

General

Participants take part in Yoga and meditation workshops, classes & courses with the understanding that the content of the sessions is in no way intended to be taken as medical advice. Participants should seek the advice of a health-care provider to answer any health-related issues. Asteria Movement can not be held responsible for any decisions that you make regarding your physical, emotional or spiritual health

Any questions or doubts you have about the use of Yoga workshops, classes & Relaxation should be taken up with your health care professionals.

By booking your place in any class(es), events or courses you are confirming that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

Booking and Participation: Pregnancy

By signing up to a Pregnancy Yoga class(es) with Asteria Movement you are agreeing to the following.

Health:

I have not been advised against Pregnancy Yoga or other exercise by a midwife or other medical practitioner in this pregnancy.

As far as I am aware, I have disclosed to my yoga teacher all information regarding my health relevant to the practice of yoga during my pregnancy.

I take full responsibility for all applications of yoga I practice in the class and outside the class during my pregnancy.

I fully understand that the recommendations, ideas or techniques expressed and

described during these pregnancy yoga classes cannot be regarded as substitute for the advice of a qualified medical practitioners.

Any uses to which the recommendations, ideas and techniques are put are at my sole discretion and risk.

Payment

All fees are non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances.

Payment can be made for a multiple class pass to be used within one block of classes as advertised (usually a set of 6) or on an individual basis.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation by a participant prior to the start of the class, the fee is non-refundable.

In the event of cancellation by a participant after one or more sessions of the block have been completed, no refund will be given.

In the unlikely event of cancellation of a block by myself, attempts will be made to reschedule. If this is not possible, or alternative dates cannot be agreed, a full refund of the total fee will be given.

In the unlikely event of cancellation of any individual session by me, attempts will be made to reschedule. If this is not possible, or if alternative dates cannot be agreed, a refund for sessions not yet taken will be given. This refund will be the amount paid per session cancelled (e.g. class pass payment divided by number of classes). If this happens, I will ask you for your bank details and send you the refund via bank transfer. Please note, I cannot refund without this information. I do not see your details or store them when you make your payment.

General

Participants take part in Pregnancy Yoga & Relaxation sessions with the understanding that the content of the sessions is in no way intended to be taken as medical advice. Participants should seek the advice of a health-care provider to answer any health-related or pregnancy-related issues surrounding their pregnancy, their labour or their birth. Asteria Movement can not be held responsible for any decisions that you make regarding your pregnancy and birth.

Any questions or doubts you have about the use of Pregnancy Yoga & Relaxation should be taken up with your health care professionals.

By booking your place in any class(es), you are confirming that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.
